He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Banks and Josephine Banks (Fredricks); his son Barry; his sister June Cruickshank; his wife Geraldine (Huntley); and his siblings, Wylie Jr., Charlie, Richard, Louis, Stanley, Elsie McPherson and Jean.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Matthew (Tasha) and Tiffany; his great grandchildren, John, Isabelle, Audrey and Benjamin; his sibling Hedley Banks; his goddaughter Joanne Smith (Bob); his daughter-in-law Dorothy Archer; and also Joanne.

Rather than donations to charity, we ask that you honour his memory with acts of kindness and gratitude.
