John Howard Blaauwendraat Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2022, John Howard Blaauwendraat (Truro, Nova Scotia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Howard Blaauwendraat to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blaauwendraat and Vivian Blaauwendraat (Scott); and his wife Elizabeth "Betty" (Maskill). He is survived by: his children, John R. Blaauwendraat (Jaime), Marie Harrison (Chuck), Beaver Brook, Brian Blaauwendraat (Brianna) and Princeport; his grandchildren, Ava Harrison, Johnny Blaauwendraat, Ella Harrison, Nora Blaauwendraat, Hendrik Blaauwendraat, Brett Blaauwendraat and Zoe Blaauwendraat; and his siblings, Jean Babineau (Stephen), Mary Burns (George) and Bruce Blaauwendraat (Marlene). He is also survived by two aunts in Holland, an uncle in Ontario, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a public funeral service will be held at a later date.
