He was predeceased by: his parents, Gavin Leggate and Margaret Leggate (Wilson); his daughter-in-law Trish Leggate; and his siblings, Margaret Leggate, Martin Leggate (Morag), Alex Leggate and Faye Frame.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Hannah); his children, Gavin Leggate, Rines Creek, Margaret Hardy (Larry), Necum Teuch, Heather Leggate (Kevin Bushey) and James Leggate (Christina Millar); his grandchildren, Bryson (Chelsea), Noah, Hayley, William, Angus, Maura (Tristan), James, Pearl, Clarissa and Nick (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Trait, Flynn, Everly, Archie and Jamieson; his siblings, Murray Leggate (Christine) of Scotland, Helen Orr of Scotland, Ian Leggate of Scotland, Janey Denton (Clive) of Scotland, Andrew Leggate (Christine) of Scotland and Elizabeth Watson (Jim) of Scotland; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Leggate (Scotland) and Jim Frame (Scotland). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
