He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel MacEachern and Anna MacEachern (Buchanan); his brother David; and his brother-in-law André Layes. He is survived by: his sisters, Lynn Layes, Louise Gillis (Brian) and Abercrombie; and his nieces and nephews, Jonathan Layes (Audrey), Ellen Kostlac (Terry), Natalie Ross (Tyler), River, Ashley Rathbun (James), Erin Gillis (Brent Turnbull), Grand Prairie and Alberta.
