She was predeceased by: her parents, James Starratt and Jennie Starratt (MacLaughlin); her former husband John MacDonald; her husband James Hood; her son J. Robert MacDonald; and her sisters, Evelyn MacLellan, Joyce Starratt and Clara Galway (Roy).
She is survived by: her sons, Brian MacDonald (Linda) and Andrew MacDonald (Doug Hiltz); her stepdaughter Elizabeth Pulsifer (Mark); her daughter-in-law Paulette Rooney; her grandchildren, Beth MacDonald (Cal), Leah MacDonald White (Matthew), Johnathan MacDonald (Becky), Duncan Pulsifer (Candace) and Jillian Pulsifer (Mark); her great grandchildren, Max, Reuben, Sophie, Lucy, Jackson, Gracie, Addison, Thomas and Nathan; and her brother-in-law Percy Hood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barb's memory to West Colchester Community Health Centre, Bass River, the United Church or charity of choice are welcomed.
