She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dorrington and Mabel Dorrington (Mentis); her husband Macio Hines; her daughter Joyce; and her siblings, William Jr., Frederick, Murray, Horace, Douglas, Arthur, Harold, Marion, Hilda, Betty and Emily.
She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Simmons. She is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and beloved friends.
