Harold Carleton Lewis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Carleton Lewis (Truro, Nova Scotia), born in Five Islands, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 8, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Lewis and Freda Lewis (Eagles); his siblings, Derald, Austin Lewis, Addison Lewis, Jean Bedford (Alex), Ruth MacBurnie (Bernard) and Iva Lewis; his sister-in-law Marjorie Lewis; and his extended family Wayne Dunphy.
He is survived by: his wife Lorna (Simpson); his children, Derald Lewis, Heather Ward (Tony), Donald "Donnie" Lewis, Alberta and Mary Lindsay (Dana White); his grandchildren, Tyler Lewis, Ashley Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, Angela Ward (Dylan Ellis) and Monica Ward (Drew Hennigar); his sister-in-law Eileen Lewis; and his extended family, Helen Dunphy and Onslow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, the funeral service will be held at a later date at Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
If so desired, donations in Harold's memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Parkinson Society are welcomed.
