He was predeceased by: his parent Lonnie Murray; his stepmother Anne Murray; and his brother-in-law Blaine Geddes. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Murray (MacGregor); his children, Chrissy Castellano (Michael) and Brad Murray (Shawna); his grandchildren, Riley, Luke, Jesse and Bennett; his sisters, Susan Ryan (Aubrey), Belinda Geddes (Blaine) and Joanne Newell; his in-laws, Joanne Sinclair (Chuck), Patricia Yuill (Jeff), David MacGregor (Darlene) and Christine Flemming (Jim); his extended family Tryphenia Belli (Stephen); and his half-sister Felegan Belli LeRoy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Yuill Crest Farms (3143 Rte 236, Upper Kennetcook, NS B0N1T0).
