We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Gerald Silas Smith of Truro, Nova Scotia, born in Arlington, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Sadie Smith (Seaman); his wife Jean; his brothers, Eric Smith and Guy Smith; his grandson Corey Calder; his nephew Jimmy Smith; and his niece Betty Cartmell.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Mary), Blane (Heather), Dale Lucas (Gary), Cindy Doiron (Dan MacLeod) and Nora Copan (Rick); his foster brother Colin Martin (Shirley) of Springhill, NS; and his sister-in-law Lois Turney of Barrie, ON. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations can be made in Gerald's memory to the Lorneville Cemetery Fund.
