She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Chisholm and Nellie Chisholm (Harris); her siblings, Mary, Chipman and Annie Gates (Thomas); her son-in-law Fredrick Bird; her parents-in-law, Douglas and Hannah Purdy; and her sisters, Mable Doucet (Jack), Florence Ripley (Lloyd), Muriel Sprinks (David) and Olive Anderson (Carl).
She is survived by: her husband D. H. Crawford Purdy; her children, Lorna Bird and Douglas Purdy; her grandchildren, Jackie Bird (Dwight Newbury) and Katie Goodwin (Robin); her great grandchildren, Owen Goodwin, Heidi Newbury and Leah Newbury; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Chisholm; and her nieces and nephews, Lynn Gates, Richard Gates, Larry Gates, Cathy Gates-Gordon, George Chisholm, Eddy Chisholm, John Chisholm, Willard Ripley, Muriel Ripley, Heather Sprinks-Seccombe, Albert Doucet, John Doucet, Marie Doucet-Barnes and Sheila Doucet.
