It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Ernest Bent (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eric Ernest Bent to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest ElRoy and Lorna Henrietta Bent (Inglis); and his siblings, Sheila Collins, Beryl Newstead, ElRoy and Guy.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Florence (Wiseman); his children, Allison Bent (Ottawa), Leslie Bent (Andy Smith), Donald Bent (Eva Thurlow) and Katherine Bent (Richard Mulroy); his granddaughters, Kaleigh and Sarah; his sisters, Pearl MacLellan and Carrie Horton (Ottawa); his close friend Don Hollett; and his children, Eva, Andy and Richard. He is also survived by his extended family, always welcoming his nieces, nephews, and siblings.
In light of the COVID-19 virus restrictions, there will be a small private service.
