She is survived by: her husband Peter; her close friend Duke; her son John Berfelo; her stepchildren, Elizabeth Wing (Jake) and David MacRae (Shauna); her grandchildren, Kenzie, Samuel and Katy; her brother David Roode (Joanne); her niece Marissa Roode; and her nephew Matthew Roode.
