She was predeceased by: her parent Ruby Young; her brother Freddy; her great grandchild Maverick; and her husband Carmen. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Green, Sherri Bennett (Keith), Cynthia Douglas, Karen Gault (Wallace) and Amanda Dean (Jeff); her grandchildren, Jason Green (Stephanie), Travis Mingo (Beth), Baily Mingo, Danielle Gault, Odessa Gault, Zach Dean and Carter Dean; and her great grandchildren, Falcon, Remy, Gracie and Freyja.

Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Fund or to the Halifax Infirmary Cardiac Unit.
