She was predeceased by: her parents, David Melroy and Sophia Esther Melroy (O'Brien); her husband Robert Eastcott; her son Robert Ferdinand; and her siblings, Ellie Melroy (Marie), Lawrence "Bub" Melroy (Ida Mae Myers) and Grace Melroy.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Thompson (Anne) of Debert, Wallace Bay of Debert, Earl Ferdinand (Eva) of Debert, Larry Ferdinand (Julia) of Debert, Gordon Lewis of Debert, Sylvia Thompson of Debert, Ronnie Eastcott (Helen) of Debert, David Eastcott of Debert, Norman Eastcott of Debert, Ian Menzie of Debert, Jack Menzie of Debert, Debbie Buchanan of Debert, Vivian Turner of Debert and Marilyn Dykens of Debert; her great grandchild Elayna; her siblings, Herbie Melroy (Donna), Shirley Thompson, Basil Melroy and Isobel Melroy; her niece Pearl Myers; and her close friend Alberta Barker. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Donna's family will receive friends from 4:30 – 6:30 p. m., Saturday, March 27, 2021. (Please use the front doors of the funeral home, wear face masks and practice physical distancing.).
