We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, Donald Edwin Boomer (Truro, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Donald Edwin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donald Edwin. Though Donald Edwin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Boomer and Violet Boomer (Tucker); his wife Margaret (Terry); and his sisters, Edna McNutt (Charlie), Mary MacCallum (Donnie) and Margaret.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marjorie Matthews (Gerald), Lillian Corkum and Shirley Wallace. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6).
If so desired, donations in Donnie's memory to Knox United Church, Brookfield are welcomed.
