She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Nelson (Hutt) and Carl Nelson; her husband Bernie; her stillborn baby Celina; and her siblings, Thelma Lumsden (Phil) and Calvin "Bud" Clattenburg.
She is survived by: her son Matthew (Jeremy); and her sisters, Carol Johnstone (David) and Janice McLeod (Doug). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
