He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bagnell and Harriett Bagnell (Irvine); and his siblings, Bessie, Gertrude, Opal, Alma, Avis, Gloria, James, Jack and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Denton-Bagnell (Kieron McGibney), Sherry Bagnell (Lynn Patriquin), Richard Bagnell (Colleen), Stephen Bagnell (Janet) and Caribou River; his grandchildren, Becki Haltom, Benjamin Cumming (Lindsay), William Cumming, Richard Bagnell (Allie), Thomas Bagnell, Breanna Denton, Colum Haight, Michael Bagnell (Beth), Jeffrey Bagnell and Sarah Terry (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Logan, Everly, Janelle and Hendrik. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a visitation and funeral service will be held in the spring/summer of 2021.
