He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Yould and Myrtle Yould; his sister Fran Tyler; and his grandson Wilson Grant. He is survived by: his wife Janet (Cavanagh); his sister Karen Morgan (Wayne); his daughters, Patricia Toole (George) and Margaret (David); his grandson David (Lisa); his brothers-in-law, John Cavanagh and Bud Cavanagh; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Jennifer, Benjamin, Lauren, Michael, Brandon, Ryan and Madison; and his great grandchildren, Leah, Autaum, Hunter, Travis, Emily, Arielle, Myla and Eloise. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
