He was predeceased by: his parents, Hendrik Havenga and Ymkje Havenga (Brandsma); and his brother Henry. He is survived by: his son Dwight (Tara); his granddaughter Chelsie (Tanner Geldart); and his siblings, Meindert (Josephine), Klaas (Wendy), John (Linda), Weiger (Morag), Frank (Tammy), Robert (Wendy), Janet Havenga and Claire Havenga (Greg Roy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
