It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Richard Young of Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 7, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clarence Richard Young to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sr. and Erema "Pauline" (Schofield); and his siblings, Doreen Cavanagh (Raymond), Shirley Kohler, Carolyn Redden (Hugh), Dolores Northrup (Donald) and Donald (E. Joyce).

He is survived by: his wife Gail (Horner); his daughters, Cathryn Young (Sharon Richard) and Terri Sutherland (Wayne); and his granddaughters, Alisha Sutherland and Brooke Sutherland.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (100 Cornwallis St, Kentville, NS B4N 2E4). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Elm Grove Cemetery.

Donations may be made to a charity of choice in Clarence's honor.
