He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Russell MacKenzie and Helen Chloe "Honey" Lennerton-MacKenzie; and his grandparents, Philip, Helen Lennerton (MacAloney), Earl MacKenzie and Gwen Matheson (MacKenzie).
He is survived by: his daughter Emma; his sisters, Angela Hudson, Kemptown and Emily MacKenzie; his half-brother Graham MacKenzie (Sabrina); and his nieces and nephews, Dawson Hudson, Shailee Hudson, Jake Hudson, Tyson MacKenzie-Pratt, Logan MacKenzie and Arron MacKenzie. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
