He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Gloade and Mary Bridget Gloade (Johnson); his brothers, Lester Gloade and Maurice Gloade; his sister-in-law Vera Gloade; and his niece Karlena Jane Gloade.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Dorey of Millbrook, Richard Gloade (Natalie) of Millbrook, Peter Gloade (Shelley) of Millbrook, Patrick Gloade of Millbrook, Kelvin Gloade (Dora) of Millbrook and Chief Robert "Bob" Gloade (Kelly) of Millbrook. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and Godchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.
