He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Poole and Harriett Poole; his sisters, Cora Duffy (Gerald) and Eleanor Cassidy (John); his nephew Barry Cassidy; and also Janice.
He is survived by: his wife Joan (Van Buskirk); his sons, Jeffrey (Tracey) and Peter (Gina Sampson); his grandchildren, Charlee Lane (Kevin), Mallary Kehayes (Ian), Malcolm and Grace Poole; his brothers, Harry Poole (Phyllis) and David Farwell (Ann Giffin); and his nephew Richard Lee (Kelly) of Halifax.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
