She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Roode (Bent) and Ethel Roode; her husband Stanley James "Jim" Nichols; her former husband Lloyd Marshall; her son Barry; her grandson Barry Jr. (Tracey); and her siblings, Carl Roode, Ellis Roode, Emma Berry, Kathleen Rector, Merna Marchbank, Evelyn Denniston and Charlotte Barrett (Marshall).
She is survived by: her children, Brian (Cathy), Randy (Gloria), Robbie (Fanny), Kathy Morrisey (Roger), Sherry, Nancy Lee-Owe (Alberta) and Gail Nichols (Alberta); her daughter-in-law Denise Nichols; her grandchildren, Carolanne Chagnon (Marc), Vicki Nichols (Craig), Laura Crocker (Dion), Sarah Nichols (Jeremy), Trevor Nichols, Jeff Nichols (Kari), Crowes Mills, Lee Nichols, Travis Nichols (Becky), Cindy Lockhart (Jim), Harmony, Becky MacNutt (Danny), Petra MacCormick (Mike), Manganese Mines, Cassandra Taylor, Sonia Thompson (Josh), Hilden, Samantha Lee-Owe, Trenton Lee-Owe, Selena Lee-Owe and Duncan Nichols-Delay; her stepgrandsons, Roger Guitar (Karine) and Mike Guitar (Natalie); her great grandchildren, Cameron Chagnon, Averi Chagnon, Scarlet Chagnon, Xander Chagnon, Kylie Crocker, Luke Crocker, Dustin Nichols, Emily Nichols, Devyn Nichols, Joshua Nichols, Brayden Lockhart, Nicholas Lockhart, Nathaniel MacNutt, Braxton MacNutt, Brielle MacNutt, Eva MacCormick, Brooks MacCormick, Ezra Thompson, Rowan Thompson, Kailey Nichols and Noah Nichols; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Miles Guitar, Abagail Guitar, Melanie Guitar, Emily McKeown and Nicole McKeown of Cody MacBurnie, D. J; and her sisters, Bessie Sawatsky and Mavis Wilders. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
