She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Sutherland and Christene Sutherland (Ferguson); her husband George; and her brothers, Ernest and Bill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lois, Avis Mullaly (Keith) and Valda; her grandchildren, Alexander (Catherine), Spryfield, Laura (Richard) and Ottawa; her sister Elizabeth Caldwell; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Sutherland, Ruth McNutt and Stephen Richard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Blanche's family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m., Thursday, November 3, 2022, and funeral service 2 p. m., Friday, November 4, 2022, Pastor Greg Porter officiating. (Masks are recommended but not necessary.).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Blanche's memory to Aenon Baptist Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
