We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2018, Beatrice May Metlin (Truro, Nova Scotia), born in Gosport, South East passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent John Hawkins; her husband Lorenzo Metlin; her sons, George Metlin and Anthony Metlin; her grandsons, Raymond Metlin and Kirk Lorenzo DeBay; her great grandchild Nicholas Lorenzo Forbes; her sister Patricia Morris of Pamela Worth; and her son-in-law Fontaine Hughes.
She is survived by: her parent Daisy Hawkins (Castle); her children, Raymond Metlin (Louise) of Truro, John Metlin (Mary), Michael Metlin, Toby Metlin (Melinda) of Truro, Kathleen Forbes (Ralph) of Truro, Linda Metlin-Hughes (Keith), Barbara Marriott (Brian), Constance Metlin of Hilden and Betty Metlin of Onslow; and her siblings, Tony Hawkins (Susan) of England and Anne Salmon of England. She is also survived by 11 children, she was a devoted and selfless mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Beatrice's memory may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses.
