He was predeceased by: his siblings, Letha, Fran, Doris and Clifford; his parents, Clifford Wheadon and Frances Wheadon (Greene); and his wife Phyllis Crowe (Crowe).
He is survived by: his children, Mike and Arlene; his grandchildren, Wade (Misti Rutherford), Julie (Bobby Wood) and Arden; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Sage, Tavish (Wade), Makayla and Kaitlyn (Julie); and his grandchildren, Joel (Lesleanne Blakely) and Tess (Jason Minster).
