He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Shaw and Alma Shaw (Crowther); and his wife Willa Lanford. He is survived by: his sister Audrey Montgomery (Jim); his children, Laura Shaw (John Harrison) and Jim Shaw (Shaunna MacIsaac); his grandchildren, Gareth Paterson, Alexandra Harrison (Dustin Radcliffe), Christopher Harrison, Lily, Parker Shaw and Brett Delorey; his great grandchildren, Jeffery and Magnolia Radcliffe; his niece Jodi Summerfield-Petch (George Moore); and his great-niece Amy Petch.
