She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Agnus Preston; her former husband Douglas Mullen Jr.; and her siblings, Katherine MacDonald (Kathy) and John Curtis. She is survived by: her husband Brian Wentzell; her sons, John Robert, Ryan Curtis (Heidi) and Lyons Brook; her siblings, Robert "Herbie" Curtis (Margie) and Elizabeth Lays (Peter); her grandchildren, Honey, Devin, Morgan, Thomas, Hope, Marcus, Aiden, Austin and Chloe; her great grandchildren, Castiel, Ira and Reign; and her siblings-in-law, Vivian Chapman and Gary MacDonald. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
At this time Susan's life will be celebrated privately by her family due to the current COVID-19 restrictions.
