She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Mathews, Sr.; her parents, Ralph Lusk and Ruby Gravitt Lusk; and her siblings, Robert, Royce, Rayburn, Raliegh and Roberta Tinker.

She is survived by: her children, Reta Massey, Rusty (Charlsie), Roxanne Kilgore (Larry), Renae Powell (Lee), Regina, Ralph, Jr., Randall, Ronda Higdon, Ritchie (Renee) and Rosalie Baldwin (Joe). She is also survived by three grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
