He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Laffin (Trenton) and Pauline Warren; his stepmother Ann Laffin (Landry); his parents-in-law, Agnes Keating and Xavier Keating; his close friend Donnie Burns; and his brothers, Richard Laffin and Ronnie Laffin.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Laffin; his children, Tracy Farrell (Steven), Shawn Laffin (Amanda) and Patrick Laffin (Lynn); his grandchildren, Faith Farrell, Haley Laffin, Ryan Farrell, Jamie Laffin, Marisa Laffin and Scarlet Laffin; and his sisters, Linda Dougherty (Robert), Paula Richards (Billy) of Trenton, NS, Carolyn Hmiel (Danny Cunningham), Pictou Landing and Cindy MacKenzie (Mike) of Trenton, NS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and step-brothers and, sisters.
