He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Foote and Ethel Foote (Robson); and his siblings, Lloyd, Melvin, Olive Ross and Edna Browning.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen (Chisholm); his children, Bob, Kenneth (Diane Mahar) and Janet (Mike Burge); his grandchildren, Robyn Thompson (Chad), Shelby Jenkins (Pete), Hayley Foote (Amber Hallam), Troy Foote, Tyler Foote, Dylan Campbell and Marley Burge; and his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Andie Thompson and Emily Jenkins.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Pictou County Food Bank.
