She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo "Al" and June Legere (MacCormack); and her brother Paul. She is survived by: her husband Roddie; her son Matthew of Halifax; her grandson Jake Alonzo Hardy; her sister Eileen Stinson (Vernon) of New Glasgow; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Spinelli (Joe) of Arizona, Cathy MacGillivray (Greg) of Trenton and Muriel Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or the SPCA.
