It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ida MacKay in Trenton, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 98, on March 28, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie L. Lumsden and Mildred Lumsden (Hunt); her husband John Henry Gordon "Red" MacKay; her son Ernest Gordon MacKay; and her brothers, Ernest Lumsden, Leonard Lumsden and Robert Lumsden.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Lee Barron (MacKay); her son-in-law Allen Steven Barron; her grandchildren, Peter J. MacKay, Jennifer J. MacKay Rent, James "Jim" Timothy Cecil Barron, Bradley Joseph William Barron, Todd Stewart Douglas Barron and Heidi Victoria Barron; her great grandchild Morgan Rent; and her sisters-in-law, Grace MacKay and Maureen Lumsden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at this time due to COVID.
