It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane (Smith) Cairns (Trenton, Nova Scotia), born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Simon Cairns (Krista) and Nicholas Cairns (Margarida); her grandson Luke Cairns; her siblings, Saundra Hardy and Sydney Smith of Montreal; and her parents, Dugald MacLachlan Smith and Muriel Fraser MacDonald of Halifax. She was also cherished by her many nieces and nephews.
