She was predeceased by: her parents, Spurgeon Francis and Goldie Linda MacDonald (Burges); her close friend Donnie Gray; and her brothers, Ricky and Allister.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sharon (Tony), Edward "Eddie" (Mary), Point, Shelby, Alan and Shane; her nieces and nephews, Sherileigh, Rhonda, J. B., Darrell and Danny; her great-niece Alana; and her great-nephews, Christian and Carmelo. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
If desired, donations may be made in memory of Debbie to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association.
