He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Cameron and Johanna Cameron (Purvis); his son Bernard "Bernie"; and his siblings, George, Purvis, Mona and Thelma.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Frazee); his children, Steven and Donna Atwater (Cameron); his grandchildren, Jacqueline of Bruce, JB and Justin; and his brother Leonard Cameron (Marjorie). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Donations can be made in his memory to Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society.
