He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl MacDougall and Viola MacDougall (MacMillan) of Trenton; and his brothers, Charles Ellis and Wayne "Oscar" Hawboldt. He is survived by: his caregiver Norma (Spears); his brother Jim (Terri) of New Glasgow; his niece Amanda of Trenton; his sister Karen Mill (Jude); his nephews, David and Paul of Moncton, NB; his siblings, Bob (Sharon), Burton Hawboldt (Rhonda) and Anne Gerrior (Rob); and his friends, Renie Currie, Linda Stephenson, Jacob and Kaitlyn Pentz.
