In loving memory of William Dewtie of Thorburn, Nova Scotia, who departed this world on March 26, 2025 at the age of 90. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dewtie and Margaret Dewtie (Pitts); his wife Marie (Farrell); his sons, Mark and Paul; and his brothers, Wallace and Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Cameron (Phil), Kevin (Jan), Glen (Lesley) and Christopher (Jamie); his grandchildren, Stephen, Glen (Lindsay), Corey (Alex), Blair, Avery, Courtney (Adam), Dyllan and Kaebrie; his great grandchild Rowan; and his siblings, Margaret Ann (Buddy), Joann, Kenda, John, Seymour, Frank, George and Art.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
