She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Flynn and Catherine Flynn (MacDonald); her husband Douglas; her granddaughter Shannon; her daughter-in-law Margaret; and her siblings, Mary, Garrett, Robert and Sandy.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne of Lower Sackville, John "Jack" (Brenda), Eden Lake, James (Nancy) and Thorburn. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Donations in her memory may be made to "Shannon's Sneakers" which was created to honor the memory of her granddaughter Shannon.
