It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murray Ross Stewart of Thorburn, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Peter and Christine Stewart (Ross); his daughters, Wendy Burns (Robert), Trenton, Debby Sangster (Al Harris) and Wanda Sampson; his siblings, Morty (Amie), Alice McGee, Diane Wright and Riverton; his siblings-in-law, Gerald, Dorothy MacLellan, Karen MacDonald and Eileen Stewart; his grandchildren, Allison, Melanie and Molly; his wife Mary (MacDonald); and his siblings, Ray and Georgina Cameron. He was also cherished by several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Murray was a longtime elder of Union Presbyterian Church to which donations can be made or to the Thorburn Cemetery Association.
