He was predeceased by: his parents, Seymour Smith and Dorothy Smith; his sister Marcella MacGregor; and his siblings-in-law, Lovey Smith, Bill MacGregor, Raymond Cameron and Gary Cameron.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Lindsey) and Michael (Lisa); his wife Sheila; his grandchildren, Cooper Smith, Vella and Vox Smith; his brother Bill Smith; and his parents-in-law, Vernon, Marilyn Cameron, Cecil, Geraldine Cameron, Bernie, Marilyn McCarron, Dorothy Cameron and Carol Cameron. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care, or Parkinson's Canada Fundraising.
