She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Fraser and Ruth Fraser (Munroe) of Little Harbour; her husband Raymond Johnston; her daughter-in-law Paula; and her siblings, Donald, Marshall (Gladys), Edwin, George, Helen Walters (Clary) and Isabel Laister (Vernon).
She is survived by: her children, Mason (Gisele), Brian (Roxanne), Lyons Brook, Colin (Lois) and Leah Johnston of Thorburn; her daughter-in-law Darlene Johnston of New Glasgow; her grandchildren, Christa (Barry), Jeff (Anne), Mark (Janet), Tanya (Mark), Alexis and Judd; her stepgrandchildren, Rachel, Tabatha, Tanya and Jessy; and her sisters-in-law, Eudora Tupper of Tatamagouche, Mary Fraser of New Glasgow and Joan Fraser of Truro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
