Justin MacGillivray Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Justin MacGillivray of Thorburn, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 25. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his daughter Olivia; the mother of his child Kayla MacKinnon; his parents, Kathy MacGillivray and Marc MacPherson; his brother Jacob; his grandparents, Billy, Susan MacGillivray, Arlene MacPherson (Leo) and Joey MacPherson (Jan); his great-grandparent Janet Hingley; his great-grandaunt Claire Murphy; his uncle Brent; his aunts, Lindsay and Taryn; and his cousins, Nate and Layla.

Per NS COVID restrictions, all attendees must wear a mask and show proof of full vaccination and valid ID at both the visitation and funeral.

Donations in Justin's memory can be made to the Thorburn Fire Department or a trust fund for his most prized treasure his daughter, Olivia.
