He was predeceased by: his parent George Richard; and his grandson Ian Brooks Haggerty. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Winifred Munro (McLeary); his wife Reta Munro (Roy); and his children, Linda Smith (Jim), Larry (Carol), Gerry (Darlene), Rick (Denise), Dale (Janette), Greg, Tim (Donna), Alex (Tara) and Joe (Tracy). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
