He was predeceased by: his parent Albert Selig; his wife Iris Myrtle Selig (Dorey); his children, Judy and Joey (Arsenna); and his siblings, Alvin, George, Gerald, Charles, Earl, Violet and Myra.
He is survived by: his parent Florence Selig (Hubley); his children, Willie (Judy), Eddy, Randy (Valerie), North River, Tony (Helen), Truro, Elizabeth McLain (Bill) of Bridgewater, Darlene Whynot (Wayne) of Brickton, Cindy of Hillsborough, N. B. and Sheila Patriquin (Eddie) of Wentworth; and his sisters, Helen Colp and Elizabeth Crouse. He is also survived by two grandchildren and over 30 great grandchildren.
