He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Tower and Hazel Tower (Miller); and his sister Diane Cale. He is survived by: his children, Jason (Lacey), Josh, Darcey (Darren LeBlanc), Tammy (Terry Lewis) and Crissy Melanson (Kevin); and his sister Terry Oderkirk (Jack). He is also survived by many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
