It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velda Judith of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hawes and Edith Hawes (Gerrard); her daughter Cyndi Palmer; her husband George; her son-in-law Lloyd Munroe; and her siblings, Wallace, Orrin, Curtis, Sherman, David, Stuart and Cora Abriel.
She is survived by: her children, Colette Cleary (Stephen), Cara Munroe and Pierre; her grandchildren, Samantha, Nicole, Jacqueline, Cody, Gregory, Danielle, Christina and Jackson; her siblings, Lois Goodfellow (Don), Rita Webb (Ray), Connie Owen (Richie), Brenda Mason, Sheldon Hawes (Faye) and Darlene Whitman; her brothers-in-law, Roger Le Frank and Frank Le Frank (Gordie); and her son-in-law Stephen Palmer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
