It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Swan (Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Thompson and Inez Thompson (MacLellan); her husband Herman Ernest Swan; her siblings, Elfreda Higgins, Lola Cock, Faye Ernest, Glen Thompson and Roache Thompson; and her great grandchild Esme Swan.
She is survived by: her children, David (Dorit) and Joyce (Bruce); her siblings, Iva Nelson, Margaret Thompson, Kori Nickerson, Joan Thompson and Clifford Thompson; her grandchildren, Lukas (Anne), Maya (Nic), Caroline (Jamie) and Grayson (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Westley, Scarlett, Jakob, Jane, Mira, Erin and Joy. She is also survived by Her sisters and brothers were best friends and companions.
