He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine "Kate" Wall of Tatamagouche Mountain; his grandmother Lillian Wall; and his brothers, Guy Wall, Sterling Wall, Alvin Wall, Doug Wall, Ronald Wall, Carl Wall and Brent McGowan.

He is survived by: his wife Jacklyn "Jackie" (Ross); his pet Jack-Jack; his stepchildren, Dawna MacConnell (Allie) and Sandy MacConnell (Nicole); his granddaughters, Anna, Lilly and Sophia; his siblings, Darryl Wall, Todd McGowan (Shelley), Murray Wall, John Wall, Ross Wall (Anne), George "Jordy" Wall (Brenda), Muriel Roberts (Henry), Cindy Flottemesch (Kevin), Lori Orich (Eric) and Cheryl Cronin; and his adoptive father Alan Carmichael (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
